Can design express emotion? Can it connect those who are otherwise apart? Can it transcend physical distance, becoming a conduit between two people? The designers at Studio Sophisti believe it can, and have created a lamp that lives up to these challenges.
Their Ping lamp can either exist as one single lamp or as two connected halves. While it looks nice by itself, the real beauty is in its functionality. Though the two halves lamp may be separated by distance, they still rely on each other. When one light is turned on, the other brightens. When one lamp is turned off, the other dims.
